Amazing Bird Fishes Like A Human !!!!!!! INCREDIBLE!!!

This video has stunned scientists around the world as this bird thinks critically just like a human to catch fish. Give a fish a piece of bread and it will won't be hungry for a day but teach it to fish...well you get it.

California Condor

Cobra Bite..It's Amazing!

Serves him right for pestering the damn thing. He's no Steve Irwin and never will be. What a wannabe know-nothing.

If A Rabbit Has Stopped Eating,What Can I Do?

Rabbits will stop eating for a number of different reasons and it is more common than most people realise.  Pain, Surgery, Stress, and or a change in diet are all potential triggers that can cause a rabbit to stop eating.  If your rabbit stops eating you need to address it as quickly as possible due to the rabbits gastrointestinal system it is important that he eats regularly and continues to ingest fibre.
Here are our tips for getting your rabbit to eat properly again.
  • Always ensure that following surgery or during illness you rabbit has sufficient painkillers and make sure  you use them. A rabbit that is in pain will not eat!
  • Rabbits are naturally active at dawn and dusk. Try to mimic these conditions for your rabbit. With house rabbits dim the lights, ensure it is quiet and keep the room at the correct temperature (21-23 degrees). Make sure there are no predators within sight or smell (including your pet dog or cat) and ensure that your rabbit is comfortable, clean and dry. Rabbits who feel stressed, dirty or threatened will not eat.
  • Anorexic rabbits generally crave Fiber. Offer good quality sweet smelling hay with greens, freshly picked grass, dandelion leaves or your bunnie’s favourite rabbit food. Getting your rabbit to start eating is the most important thing at this stage.
  • Ensure the food is within easy reach of your rabbit.
  • Contrary to popular belief rabbits, like most prey animals, do not like being picked up and cuddled if they are unwell. Gentle stroking and talking to your rabbits is more effective and will allow them to feel safe and secure and start to eat.
  • Some rabbits will take the elusive first bite if you waft food under their nose. Tickle their nose with a strand of hay or grass to see if you can encourage them to start to nibble, initially you might need to slowly introduce on strand after another to kick start your rabbits appetite
  • Don’t overload your rabbits bowl and avoid outfacing them. Small amounts give n often or spread out in several feed bowls is often more effective than on large bowl full given once per day.
  • If you rabbit has a companion and it is possible keep them together, the sight of a friend eating and the comfort a companion brings will often be enough to get your bunny eating again

Curiosity About Baby Giraffe!

A baby giraffe has a 2 meter drop when it is born and lands on its head! A giraffe is one of the few animals born with horns. The baby giraffe's horns lie flat on its head before it is born and only 'pop upright' during it's first week of life.

Panama Toucan!!!

Their bodies are short (of comparable size to a crow's) and compact. The tail is rounded and varies in length, from half the length to the whole length of the body. The neck is short and thick. The wings are small, as they are forest-dwelling birds who only need to travel short distances, and are often of about the same span as the bill-tip-to-tail-tip measurements of the bird.
Toucans are resident breeders and do not migrate. Toucans are usually found in pairs or small flocks. They sometimes fence with their bills and wrestle, which scientists hypothesize they do to establish dominance hierarchies.

Star Or Fish?

It's beauty like a star but lives like a fish!

Starfish are among the most familiar of marine animals and possess a number of widely known traits, such as regeneration and feeding on mussels. Starfish possess a wide diversity of body forms and feeding methods. The extent that Asteroidea can regenerate varies with individual species. Broadly speaking, starfish are opportunistic feeders, with several species having specialized feeding behavior, including suspension feeding and specialized predation on specific prey.

Alligator Attack in Illinois

Large male alligators are solitary, territorial animals. Smaller alligators can often be found in large numbers close to each other. The largest of the species (both males and females), will defend prime territory; smaller alligators have a higher tolerance of other alligators within a similar size class.
Alligators consume food that could not be eaten in one bite by allowing it to rot or by biting and then spinning or convulsing wildly until bite-size chunks are torn off. This is referred to as a "death roll." A hard-wired response developed over millions of years of evolution, even juvenile alligators execute death rolls when presented with chunks of meat.

Purple Frog!!!

A purple fluorescent frog is one of 24 new species found in the South American highlands of Suriname, conservationists reported on Monday, warning that these creatures are threatened by illegal gold mining.

Rabbit's Food????

What does rabbit usually eat?

This is a good answer! ;)

Carrots and other vegetables are great for rabbits, though a whole carrot (top and all) is more nutritious for them. I would recommend staying away from cabbage, as it can cause gas in rabbits (which can be quite painful to them). Broccoli can also do so, but it is less likely. If you wish to feed broccoli, start out very slowly to make sure your rabbit does not have a reaction to it. In fact, you should start out all vegetables this way, especially since it is not yet used to eating them.

Here is a list of safe fruits and vegetables:

Apple *
Banana and dried banana chips
Basil
Beet greens (tops)
Blackberries
Blackberry leaves
Blueberries *
Bok choy
Broccoli (leaves and stems are the best)**
Brussels sprouts **
Carrots and carrot tops
Celery
Chicory
Cilantro
Clover
Collard greens
Cucumber
Dandelion greens and flowers
Endive
Escarole
Green peppers
Grapes *
Kale *
Melon rine and flesh *
Mint
Mustard greens
Oatmeal
Orange *
Papaya #
Parsley
Pea pods (the flat, edible kind)
Pear *
Peppermint leaves
Pineapple #
Raddichio
Radish tops
Raisins *
Raspberries
Romain lettuce (no light colored leaf or iceberg)
Spinach *
Sprouts (alfalfa, radish, clover)
Strawberries
Watercress
Wheat grass

Beaver Anatomy

The average length is 35 to 52 inches measured from the head to the tip of the tail. Adult beavers weigh 40 to 70 pounds (18 to 32 kg) . Records of 96 pounds (44 kg) for a Missouri beaver and the largest castor canadensis was 110 pounds (50 kg) from Wisconsin. After late summer beavers start putting on weight. This makes it easier to deal with the freezing winter temperatures relying o extra body fat for insulation. Kits weigh 9 to 15 pounds (4 to 7 kg), by the age one they are 21 pounds (10 kg) and by age 2 they are 30 pounds (15 kg). From the time they are born the beaver uniquely never stops gnawing.
The beaver tail has many uses. On land they use it when tree felling to support themselves, to balance when carrying mud walking on hind legs. In the water beavers can turn their tails in four directions to act like a rudder while swimming. The surface is leathery with a fish like look, coarse hairs cover the tail where it joins the body. Tails measure 6 to 12 inches (15 to 30 cm) long and 4 to 5 inches (10 to 13 cm) wide and about 3/4 inch (15 mm) thick. Beavers have a stout body size with legs that have separate lower leg bone, unlike rats and mice that have fused leg bones. The feet have evolved to carry out different jobs. The front feet are short and look like small web-less hands with sharp pointed claws that are excellent for moving branches and digging into mud banks or tearing up vegetation for feeding or construction. Beavers intelligence is above all rodents other than the Norwegian rat. The hearing sense is highly developed and can easily classify dangerous to friendly sounds. The ears of the beaver are small and when swimming valvular flaps close tightly, stopping water entering the auditory canal. Beaver lips are large and close behind the teeth. They are covered with fur. This allows beavers to carry branches while swimming and cut material under water. Beaver eyes are not really good. They can see but they rely more on sound and smell.

Green Iguana for all..

Green Iguana is a bit of a misnomer.  Sure, they can be green, but they can be a variety of other colors as well.  In fact, the male of the duo that I saw was more of an orange color than anything else, which makes sense because it is the males that are more likely to be a different coulor.
Green Iguanas range from southern Mexico and the Caribbean islands to South America and are relatively common. The biggest threats to their continued survival in the wilderness are habitat destruction and hunting, for both food and for the pet trade (though they are not considered in the least bit endangered).

Who are Macaques?

Macaques live in many different habitats across the globe, making them the most widely distributed genus of nonhuman primates. Macaques (especially Macaca mulatta and M. fascicularis) are commonly used in research most recently in AIDS research. Their coloration includes gray, brown or black fur. They tend to be heavily built and medium to large in stature.

Do you like hyenas?

Fifteen million years ago, dog-like hyenas flourished, with 30 different species being identified. Unlike some of their modern descendants, these hyenas were not specialized bone-crushers, but were more nimble, wolf-like animals. The dog-like hyenas had canid-like molars, allowing them to supplement their carnivorous diet with vegetation and invertebrates.

Killer Whale Rulez ;)

The view of orcas as predatory threats to mankind remained until the creatures were studied and it was found that they were not motivated primarily by a desire to chomp on human extremities. That understanding came partly as a result of research undertaken on orcas after they were captured and put on display in the 1960s.

An horrible Tick..

The blacklegged or deer tick (Ixodes scapularis) is dependent on the white tailed deer for reproduction. Larval and nymph stages (immature ticks that cannot reproduce) of the deer tick feed on birds and small mammals. The adult female tick needs a large 3 day blood meal from the deer before she can reproduce and lay her 2000 or more eggs. Deer are the primary host for the adult deer tick and are key to the reproductive success of the tick. See the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station and Connecticut Department of Public Health joint publication "Tick Management Handbook" for more details of the tick's life cycle and dependence on deer.

Legend Of A Peacock

The peacock is mentioned in Greek mythology. It was the bird of Hera, queen of the Gods. One myth told of Argus, Hera's hundred eyed giant whose job it was to spy on Zeus and discover his trysting places. When he discovered Zeus with the maiden Io, Zeus changed Io into a cow to escape Hera's wrath. Hera saw through the disguise and requested the cow as a gift, and Zeus could not refuse her. She entrusted Argus to watch Io day and night so she could not be changed back to her true form. Zeus then sent Hermes, messenger of the gods and god of thieves and trickery, to recover Io. Knowing that he could not escape detection from Argus' 100 eyes, Hermes began to play sleepy tunes on his flute and one by one Argus' eyes closed and he fell asleep. Hermes then cut off his head. When Hera found Argus, she removed his one-hundred eyes and placed them on the tail of her favorite bird, the peacock.

Molidae..My Favuorite Fish!!!

Molidae is the family of the molas or ocean sunfishes, unique fish whose bodies come to an end just behind the dorsal and anal fin, giving them a "half-a-fish" appearance. They are also the largest of the ray-finned bony fishes, with the ocean sunfish Mola mola recorded at up to 3.3 metres (11 ft) in length and 2 tonnes (2.2 short tons) in weight.

Tell me about this friends!;)

talk about Koala..

The koala (Phascolarctos cinereus) is an arboreal herbivorous marsupial native to Australia, and the only extant representative of the family Phascolariuos.
The koala is found in coastal regions of eastern and southern Australia, from near Adelaide to the southern part of Cape York peninsula.

The Coral Snake..

It' seems innocuos, but it's so dangerous!!!

Coral snakes vary widely in their behavior, but most are very elusive, fossorial snakes which spend the vast majority of their time buried beneath the ground or in the leaf litter of a rainforest floor, only coming to the surface while raining or during breeding season. Some species, like Micrurus surinamensis are almost entirely aquatic and spend most of their lives in slow-moving bodies of water that have dense vegetation.

A Dumbo Octopus...

The Dumbo Octopus can be found in any ocean and is known to have been found any where upto approximately 7,000 meters below sea level.
We believe there to be around 37 different species of Dumbo Octopus, they can usually be found close to the sea bed and can grow up-to 20cm in length.

A very nice animal! XD

An Axolotl !!! a very very rare sweety animal! :)

The axolotl or Ambystoma mexicanum, is the best known of the Mexican neotenic mole salamanders belonging to the Tiger Salamander complex. Larvae of this species fail to undergo metamorphosis, so the adults remain aquatic.

It's fantastic!:)

The Seahorse

This is another lovely kind of animal..I've never see one of this in my real life, but only in tv programs.. :)

This is one curiosity abaot seahorse:
"One common misconception about seahorses is that they mate for life. Many species of seahorses form pair bonds that last through at least the breeding season. Some species show a higher level of mate fidelity than others. "
